Early access · Convoys runs on Robinhood Chain. These pages describe the settings that run today, and they can still change.

Claiming and withdrawing

Unclaimed balance, the claim tax, the withdrawal fee and selling for ETH.

What the live share pays you waits in your unclaimed balance until you decide. Claiming moves it to your site balance, where you can spend it. Withdrawing sends it from your site balance to your wallet. They are two separate steps with a different cost each. Selling the CONVOY in your wallet for ETH is a third step, outside the game.

Unclaimed

The stream writes into unclaimed as it runs. You can claim any amount at any time, even in the middle of a shift, and you do not have to claim everything.

The claim tax

A claim keeps 10% of the amount in the unclaimed pot, and you receive the rest. The 10% is not taken by anyone: it is shared between the players who still hold unclaimed balance, in proportion to what they hold.

You claimStays unclaimed for othersYou receive
1,000100900
10,0001,0009,000
100,00010,00090,000
  • The tax is only on what you claim. What you leave unclaimed is never taxed, and it grows when other players claim.
  • A player who claims every day pays the tax every day. A player who waits receives a part of the tax of those who do not.
  • Your tax goes to the other holders only, never back to you, however you split your claims. If nobody else holds unclaimed balance, it goes back to the live share's pool.

The aim is to slow the habit of claiming and selling everything at once, and to reward players who stay. It is not a fee that goes to the team.

Withdrawing

Withdrawals need the pack. They take CONVOY out of your site balance, pay 5% to the treasury from the amount you withdraw, and send the rest to your own wallet, and nowhere else, even if someone steals your session.

  1. 1
    Ask
Enter an amount in the balance menu. The game takes it from your balance at once and the backend signs a voucher for it.
  2. 2
    Send
You send the voucher to the vault from your wallet. This is the one other transaction the game ever asks of you.
  3. 3
    Paid
The vault checks the voucher and pays your wallet. A voucher that goes unused expires and the amount returns to your balance.

A withdrawal and your earning boost

Asking for a withdrawal takes the no withdrawal part off your earning boost, 17%, for the next 24 hours, and each new withdrawal starts the 24 hours again. If the withdrawal brings your site balance and unclaimed balance together below the hold mark, the hold part, 20%, goes too until you are back above it. The base part of your share is never taken away. Everything the stream owed you up to that moment is paid first, at the boost you had before. Claiming does not touch your boost.

Up to 1,000,000 CONVOY every 2 hours

You can withdraw your site balance whenever you want, up to 1,000,000 CONVOY every 2 hours, fee included, in one withdrawal or several. There is no smallest amount and no manual check: every withdrawal is signed straight away. The window rolls: each withdrawal counts for 2 hours from the moment it is signed, then gives its room back, and the balance menu shows what is left and when more comes back. A refunded withdrawal does not count.

  • The vault has one cap, set in the contract: how much it pays out in a day across all players. It protects everyone if anything upstream ever goes wrong. If a day reaches it, a withdrawal is refused with a note to try again later, and nothing leaves your balance. See Proof of reserves.
  • Withdrawals stop on their own while the books do not match the vault, and vouchers are only signed after a recent successful check.

Selling CONVOY

A withdrawal pays CONVOY, not ETH. To turn it into ETH, open Sell in the balance menu: it swaps CONVOY from your wallet for ETH on the CONVOY/ETH pool, the same pool an ETH deposit buys from. It never touches your site balance, so withdraw first.

  1. 1
    Quote
Enter an amount. You see the ETH the pool pays right now, the least you accept, and the price impact.
  2. 2
    Allow
Your wallet allows the pool's router to take exactly that amount of CONVOY.
  3. 3
    Sell
The swap pays ETH to your wallet. If the pool would pay less than the least you accepted, it reverts and you keep your CONVOY.
  • The game takes no fee on a sale. The pool keeps its own swap fee (0.3%), which is already in the quote.
  • A sale moves the price: the more you sell at once against the pool's depth, the less each CONVOY pays. The menu warns you when the impact is high; several smaller sales, spread out, usually pay more.
  • It is your own wallet trading on the market. You can sell the same CONVOY anywhere else that trades it.
