The live share

Every day the pool streams a tenth of itself, second by second, to the players on a shift.

The live share is how players are paid. A pool of CONVOY, filled by what players spend, streams to the players who have a crew on a shift, second by second, in proportion to their power. There is no day to close and no claim window to miss. It simply runs while you are working.

The pool and the day

The pool is the CONVOY in the live share pool. It does not include players' unclaimed balances. A pool day runs from 00:00 UTC to 00:00 UTC.

At the start of each day the game fixes the day's amount: 10% of what the pool holds at that moment. That amount is then streamed evenly over the 24 hours. Whatever comes into the pool during the day, from purchases, does not change today's amount. It counts from tomorrow.

Because each day takes a tenth of what is left, the pool never runs dry by itself. With no spending at all it shrinks by about a tenth for each day that is paid, and it grows again with every purchase.

Who is paid

Everyone with at least one shift running right now shares that second's stream. Your slice is your power divided by the total power of everyone on a shift, with the cap below. When nobody is on a shift, nothing is paid and the pool keeps the CONVOY. Having more than one crew on the road does not pay you more than once.

So the same power earns more when fewer players are on a shift at the same moment, up to the cap, and less in the busy hours.

The cap

No account earns more than 10% of the stream. If your power is more than a 10% share of the total, you earn as if it were exactly that, and the difference stays in the pool. This stops one large account from taking the whole stream, and it means the stream is only paid out in full when at least 10 accounts of similar size are on a shift together. So the most one account can earn in a day is 10% of the day's amount.

There is no limit on how long you earn: the stream pays you for every second one of your shifts is running, all day if your crews keep going.

Your earning boost

The slice above is what the stream owes you. How much of it you are paid depends on your earning boost: every account is paid a base part, and all of it once the boost is at 100%, which takes deposits, spending, holding CONVOY, a day without a withdrawal and your X and Discord accounts. What you are not paid stays in the pool and goes into the following days' amounts.

An example

Three accounts are on a shift together, with a total power of 50,000. With a cap of 10%, none of them earns more than 10% of the stream.

B15,00030%10%
C30,00060%10%

With the example pool above, each of the three would be owed about 41,667 CONVOY an hour while all three are on a shift, and is paid that at an earning boost of 100%. The rest of the stream stays in the pool and goes into tomorrow's amount. With more players on shift at once, the cap bites less and the stream is paid out more fully.

Where it lands

Everything you are paid is written to your unclaimed balance. The screen shows it ticking up at your current earning boost. The books are brought up to date whenever a shift starts or ends and when you claim, and a shift stops earning at the exact moment it ends. What you do with it next is in Claiming and withdrawing.
